The Kemen family introduces the new Kemen Tour and Kemen Adventure

Orbea Diem

– Kemen Tour is the new, comfortable and versatile urban ebike, perfect for inside and outside city limits.

– Kemen Adventure is the new e-trekking bike, fully equipped and loaded with possibilities, designed to perform in the countryside and in the city.

Earlier this year, Orbea presented Diem, the flagship product of the brand’s ambitious new urban electric bike strategy, characterized by a new level of refinement and integration. Continuing with the same DNA of performance, intelligent design and personalization, we now introduce the new Kemen family. Key attributes such as efficiency, light weight, comfort, ease of use and safety have been central to the development of Kemen. The family includes two distinct versions, each optimized for its specific use: Kemen Tour and Kemen Adventure.

New Kemen Tour: Choose To Be Free
Kemen Tour dominates the city streets with its design focused on speed, comfort and versatility. Its handling inspires confidence and safety, and its wide range of accessories opens up a world of possibilities.

New Kemen Adventure: Escape the Everyday
Kemen Adventure is equally as comfortable cruising around the city as it is exploring the mountains. Its design puts the rider in the perfect position to maintain control even in tough conditions.

What makes the Kemen family unique?

1. Performance, quality and versatility

The completely redesigned frame, built with polished aluminum using the most advanced techniques, offers a modern and uniform look. The integrated battery system reduces weight and increase the frame’s stiffness, resulting in a safe, predictable ride appreciated by both experienced and novice riders.

Carefully designing the frame geometry is key with any ebike. The new Kemen frame offers maximum control, providing a comfortable and safe ride, and a low center of gravity, translating into stability and agility. The Kemen family debuts a new integrated handlebar with up to four positions that are easy to adjust and maintain, which push the limits of integration and aesthetics. Each model in the Kemen family is available in a Top Bar and Mid Bar frame option. While the geometry is identical, the Top Bar offers the best performance and handling, while the Mid Bar prioritizes accessibility.

2. Usability and personalization
Kemen is packed with smart features and integrations for any type of adventure, whether it’s a small urban adventure or a longer rural ride.

The new cockpit design includes SP Connect support for easy and safe cell phone placement, with the ability to charge the phone or any other small device on the go via the USB-C socket.

All versions and models have two mounting points for a water bottle, a lock or an additional Range Extender battery. In addition, the rear stays are designed to accommodate a wheel lock.

As for other accessories, Kemen is compatible with most trailers on the market and is part of Orbea’s accessory ecosystem, allowing the installation of the brand’s integrated front rack with a 10kg weight limit.

Kemen Tour uses the 20kg rear rack compatible with all attachment systems on the market, or an optional 30kg rack. Kemen Adventure is compatible only with the 30kg rack option, which also supports a child seat.

The fender design ensures they don’t deform with use and maintain an unparalleled aesthetic. Kemen Adventure’s fenders are wider than those of the Tour, allowing them to be used in more extreme situations.

3. Security and visibility
Orbea has prioritized safety from the beginning of the Kemen project, incorporating intuitive features, such as lighting options and an anti-theft system.
The integrated front and rear lighting system ensures rider visibility at all times, from all angles of the bike. Just like Diem, Kemen’s Supernova Starstream headlight integrates into the handlebar or the optional front rack, enhancing safety day and night.
Another Diem feature shared with the Kemen family is the hidden AirTag support. Each Kemen has a hidden space to mount an AirTag or similarly designed tracker device.
4. Powerful motor and long autonomy
Both bikes are built around the Shimano EP6 motor, ensuring powerful and superb performance both in and out of town.
The new 630Wh battery, developed for Rise and Diem, uses the latest cell technology available to maximize the bike’s weight and autonomy. As usual with Orbea, Kemen also incorporates a modular battery system, allowing the easy addition of a 252Wh Range Extender to the bottle cage.
5. Personalization
Each model is available in three different color options, inspired by their intended use. Kemen Tour features an urban-inspired graphic, while the Kemen Adventure graphic is more focused on mountain biking.
Through MyO, you can choose between different racks and accessories, including the Range Extender, depending on the model, as well other options always offered by Orbea.
