Specialized announces the Creo 2 redefining the abilities of the Creo and electric gravel bikes.
Starting at $6500 US, the Specialized Creo 2 sees new geometry and frame construction, the SL1.2 drive unit, and Future Shock 3.0 for a smoother ride. With the addition of fender mounts, rack mounts, and a third bottle mount, the Creo 2 defines a new breed of adventure.
‘It’s You, Only Faster’ is born from our integrated Turbo e-bike management. Customize power delivery, tune it for range, lock the system to deter thieves, and get instant feedback on system health with the Specialized App. Only Turbo e-bike management can deliver this one-of-a-kind advanced personalization and natural ride by designing every aspect of the system. Totally connect. Fully in-sync. Have it all.
Turbo SL 1.2 technology
The all new Turbo SL 1.2 system delivers up to 5 hours of range with over 33% more power than it’s predecessor (seen in the Creo). The SL 1.2 system has 43% more torque providing instant power for the steepest hills. Less of a performance improvement, a 40% decrease to the audible noise boosts the ride experience for a more silent ride.
Major tire clearance
The Specialized Creo 2 pushes far past the AllRoad category and takes aim at the Gravel with clearance up to 29×2.2. Big volume tires offer a smoother ride and better traction off-road and with the SL1.2 system you can take them to the tarmac for hours without the weight penalty.
Future Shock 3.0
20mm of smooth travel right at your fingertips. The Future Shock 3.0 reduces handlebar impacts up to 53%. Helping keep your hands on the bars for a steadier, smoother ride. Riding safer, faster, and more confidently while reducing hand fatigue for a longer ride.
Improved Geometry
Specialized pushes boundaries with a more progressive geometry. Finding harmony from the open road to spicey single track. The shift in geo encourages riding all day with a more ergonomic endurance rider position. With a lower bottom bracket, slacker head tube angle, and the ability to run a shorter stem, the Creo 2 is more stable and in-control feeling.
Specialized brings a dropper post to the Creo 2 for on-the-fly lowering of your center of gravity for cornering performance and freedom on the trails.
