Ortlieb’s New Back-Roller Plus, Duffel RC and Bikepacking colors

ORTLIEB, the German trailblazer in biking accessories, is thrilled to present the new Dark Sand Bikepacking Collection, an all-new Duffle the Duffle RC,and the new Back-Roller Plus – a big brother to an icon.

ORTLIEB BACK-ROLLER PLUS

WATERPROOF REAR PANNIER WITH OUTER POCKET

The Back-Roller is the absolute classic among bike panniers. It has proven its worth a million times over, not only on journeys but also in everyday use. The Back-Roller Plus impresses with its very lightweight and abrasion-resistant Cordura fabric along with its waterproof outer pocket. The main compartment of the single bag with roll closure offers a volume of 20 liters, with an additional three liters are concealed behind the roll/folding closure of the front bag, and the maximum load is nine kilograms. Depending on the degree of protection required, the outer pocket can be shut by means of the roll or folding closure. Distinguishing features of the Back-Roller Plus are not only its susta- inability, the fact that it is produced entirely in Germany and can present an exact product carbon footprint but also, of course, its durability and avoidance of PVC.

A securely mounted inner pocket comprising main compartment and mesh pocket with zipper provides order and makes the contents easy to find. Thanks to the practical Quick-Lock2.1 mounting system with self-closing hooks, the bags can be quickly and easily attached to almost all luggage racks. The system can be adjusted without any tools; the 16 mm hooks can be reduced with the inserts included (8, 10 and 12 mm). The lower hook rail serves as an additional fastening and has softer contact surfaces, to avoid any scratching of the luggage rack.

Now featuring the reworked shoulder strap and the quick-release buckles, the Back-Roller Plus is even more com- fortable to carry as a shoulder bag. It also closes faster and has been fitted with two quick-fastening points for the new shoulder pad directly on the front of the bag at the top and bottom. Two large, bright reflectors help to improve visibility in road traffic. The optional Pannier Stabilizing Insert ensures the Back-Roller Plus remains firmly in position when removed from the bike.

VERSATILE WATERPROOF TRAVEL AND CARGO BAG

The Duffle RC is a versatile sport and travel bag, which is now also available with a roll closure. And, needless to say, it is waterproof and produced sustainably in Germany. The roll closure allows swift access to the contents of the bag and affords IP64 protection to keep out water and dust.

Thanks to the extremely robust material, it has many uses, ranging from trekking and boat tours through to sports bag. Fitted with daisy chains on the upper and lower side, the Duffle RC is also ideal for use in the luggage spaces of cargo bikes. When used on a cargo bike, the optionally available Cargo Straps ensure the load remains firmly attached even when a rider with sporting ambitions is in the saddle.

The two padded and removable shoulder straps allow the Duffle RC to be additionally used as a backpack.
