You may recognize the Vado SL 2 since it’s Carbon release last fall. This new alloy version adds to new models to the line-up with new colors and a step-through frame option.

Future Shock 3.2 and 3.1 keeps your hands and bars steady for a smoothe ride with more control to stay fast and confident. With 20mm of smotoh travel between the stem and head tube it’s up to 53% smoother than a bike with a rigid fork. Vado SL 2 has a slacker head tube angle and bigger tires (47c) than previous generations for easier handling and a more comfortable ride from the street to gravel.

Introducing a new maintenance and service program launching with the Vado SL 2. It’s a fully integrated maintenance tool that connects your onboard computer to the Specialized app and alerts you when your bike needs service. Your onboard computer will notify you when it’s time for a service and provide your local Specialized dealer with the necessary information to ensure your bike continues to deliver years of worry-free, premium performance.

Every service will be logged in the Specialized app, giving you a complete record of repair, and check-ups along with notes from your mechanic.

A centralized database for service records within the Specialized App takes the guesswork out of caring for your bike. You’ll get tailored service on the go, wherever you need it via our global service partners and access to your bike’s full history, whenever you need it.

  • The MIK HD compatible rear rack has a 27kg load capacity ideal for small children in a carrier.
  • Is a 520Wh battery not enough juice? The Vado SL 2 is compatible with a 160Wh range extender to maximize your distance.
  • Need room for more gear? The front fork is rack-compatible with Tubus mounts.
  • Spec’d with 47c tires, the Vado SL 2 can fit up to 56mm tires without fenders.
  • The Specialized SL 1.2 motor delivers up to 320 watts of power at 50Nm of peak torque. This is a 33% increase in power from the SL 1.1 motor.
  • A full battery charge will take about 3 hours and 40 minutes for a complete top off. A combined time of 4 hours and 30 minutes to charge the Range Extender and Main battery using the Y-splitter.
