Advantages

One of the standout features of the Bandit is the smooth and reliable power provided by the Bafang mid-drive motor. You feel a nice assist in pedal assist 1 that helps you get to a good rolling speed. As you change to higher assist the power comes on smoothly to get you up to speed.

The geometry of the bike is comfortable and provides good handling characteristics. The bike is stable at high speeds and handles turns with ease. It also has a sleek and stylish design, with a look that is somewhere between a hardtail mountain bike and a commuter bike. The 29″ wheels roll smoothly and keep speed well, although they do take a bit more effort to get going due to their size.

Disadvantages

There are a few minor drawbacks to the Bandit, such as the location of the water bottle cage, which is under the top tube and not in the typical spot. Additionally, the bike does not come with a kickstand, which could be inconvenient for some riders. It is also on the heavier side at 51 pounds, but despite the weight, the bike still has a nimble ride feel.

Final Thoughts

The Econic One Bandit is a great option for riders looking for a versatile and reliable electric bike that can handle both off-road and urban riding. With its comfortable geometry, smooth and reliable power, and 29″ wheels, it is well-suited for taking your riding off the pavement and onto rougher roads and even gravel. Plus, with the option to connect to the bike through the Econic 1 app and access more options, as well as the ability to mount racks for urban riding, the Bandit is a good value for its price.
